Introduction: The Truth About Salvation
You may have many questions about life, faith, and the purpose of your existence. Perhaps you have already noticed that the world is filled with confusion and contradictions about God, religion, and salvation. That is why this study has been prepared for you, to give you clear, biblical answers and guide you step by step through the truth of God’s plan.
This is not about religion, appearances, or tradition. It is about discovering compassion, love, forgiveness, and peace through Christ. Above all, it is about understanding truth. Our desire is not that you simply accept what you are told, but that you carefully read, listen, and verify everything for yourself in the Word of God.
The Bible commends the Bereans, who “received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:10–11). We encourage you to do the same throughout this study.
Why This Study Matters
The world has taught us to live in ways that are far from what God intended. Most people settle for what seems like the “best of the worst,” but Christ gives us a better way. He declared in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Salvation is the greatest gift God offers to mankind. It is available to all, but it must be received on His terms, not ours.
Unfortunately, many religious traditions and church teachings today are not rooted in Scripture. Some say that merely “believing” is enough, but Romans 13:11 reminds us that salvation is only nearer when we believe. Others say baptism is optional or symbolic, yet 1 Peter 3:21 declares, “baptism doth also now save us.” Acts 2:38 shows that baptism is how we receive remission of sins and the Holy Spirit.
This study will open the Scriptures to show God’s true plan of salvation and expose the false doctrines that have confused so many.
God’s Simple Plan
Salvation is God’s gift, yet He has set forth clear conditions for receiving it. They are not complicated, but they must be obeyed in His way. As you progress through this study, you will examine each of these truths:
· Belief: Trusting that Christ died for your sins and rose again.
· Faith: Holding confidence in God’s promises.
· Repentance: Turning away from sin with a sincere heart.
· Confession: Openly acknowledging Christ as Lord.
· Baptism: Being baptized in water for the remission of sins and to receive the indwelling of the Holy Ghost.
· God’s Grace: The unearned gift that makes salvation possible.
This process is simple, but it is essential. Skipping or altering any step is to substitute man’s way for God’s way.
Moving Forward
Hosea 4:6 warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” This study exists so you can gain that knowledge, see the truth clearly, and walk in the way of salvation. No matter what your past may look like, the slate can be wiped clean, and you can begin a new life in Christ.
As you go through these pages, you will find direct answers from Scripture. You will see what God requires for salvation, why it matters, and how you can walk in His truth.
This is not man’s teaching; it is the Word of God. Approach it with an open heart and a willing mind and may God’s Spirit guide you into truth.
From the moment we are born, we inherit the curse of Adam and Eve. Because of their sin, humanity begins life separated from God. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).
Deep inside, every one of us carries an emptiness, something missing that nothing in this world can fill. Our soul quietly searches, like reaching for a long-forgotten memory. “He hath set the world in their heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). “My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” (Psalm 42:2).
Some try to fill this void with wealth, power, or success. Others chase it through relationships, alcohol, drugs, or other destructive choices. “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water” (Jeremiah 2:13). “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15-16).
Yet in the end, we find these are only temporary fixes. They suppress the emptiness for a while, but they never erase it.
The truth is this emptiness is spiritual, not material. It cannot be filled by human love, friendships, or family bonds alone. It is a void that only God Himself can fill. Christ declared, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst” (John 6:35). “In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalm 16:11).
The only way to repair this separation is through reconciliation with God. Scripture teaches that our ignorance of His Word blinds us from His love and promises. Yet God has always had a plan. He did not leave us without hope. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
God has been knocking on the door of your heart since you were a child. Christ still knocks today, waiting for you to open that door and welcome Him in. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me”(Revelation 3:20). Have you answered that call, or have you turned away?
Now that you know, the question is: what is stopping you from receiving His love? What is holding you back from the life God designed for you? Is it fear? Is it attachment to friends, family, or material things? Or is it simply your own hesitation?
The truth is that fear does not come from God. He brings peace, not fear. The enemy wants you to believe you will lose everything if you choose Christ, but the Lord promises that whatever you surrender, He will replace with far greater blessings. He will give you what you truly need, shaping you into the child of God you were meant to be.
There is no excuse strong enough to justify staying separated from Him. Christ wants you to have eternal life. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” (1 John 3:1). “But ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15).
But do not be deceived: following Christ is not about comfort. He warned, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me… He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it” (Matthew 10:37-39). “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:27).
On this journey with Christ, you will discover that God is constantly opening doors of opportunity to know Him. At every step, He waits for you to listen, to humble yourself, and to let Him lead. Too often we are distracted by selfish desires and fail to notice His hand guiding us. “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful” (Mark 4:19). “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Christ the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2).
But when we walk in humility and meekness, blessings unfold, victories are won, and we draw closer to our Father.
For guidance, we must return to His Word. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
This study is written so that you may see the truth of God’s Word for yourself. It will show you His plan of salvation, the life He promises, and the peace that only He can bring. The door is open; will you step through?

Do you even care?
Let me ask you something simple. Do you even care about the truth? Do you care about your soul, and where it will spend eternity?
Most people never stop to think about it. They are too busy chasing money, fun, or the next distraction. But Christ warned us plainly: “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” (Luke 13:23-24).
It is not that people do not seek. The problem is they seek in the wrong places. They follow the wrong teachings, traditions, and the opinions of men, instead of the Word of God. That is what leads people straight to destruction.
The Word of God Is Our Guide
God gave us His Word for a reason. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Think about it. When a father warns his child not to touch fire, it is not to ruin the child’s fun, it is to save them from being burned. That is exactly what the Bible does for us. It corrects, it warns, it teaches, because God loves us enough to keep us from destroying ourselves.
The real question is: are you willing to let God correct you?
Why So Many Refuse God
Let’s be honest. The reason many people avoid God is because they know their lifestyle does not match His Word. Accepting Him means letting go of sin. It means letting go of lying, cursing, immorality, and pride. Some people think that is too high a price to pay.
Others think God gets in the way of “enjoying life.” They call disciples boring. Still others are blinded by tradition, raised to follow without ever questioning. They were taught man’s ways instead of God’s truth.
But Scripture says: “Ye are the temple of the living God” (2 Corinthians 6:16). If we are God’s temple, how can we fill our lives with sin, lies, and idols, and still expect Him to dwell with us?
The Danger of Twisting Scripture
Another danger today is false teaching and false Bibles. Small changes in words can change the truth completely.
For example, Ephesians 5:1 in the King James Bible says, “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.”But many modern versions change “followers” to “imitators.” That may sound harmless, but it changes everything.
Think about a child. One child pretends to be his father by putting on his shoes and coat. He looks like him for a moment, but he is only pretending. Another child follows and listens to his father, obeys him, and learns from him. That child is truly walking in his father’s footsteps.
We are not called to imitate God, as if we were little gods ourselves. We are called to follow Him, to obey, honor, and love Him as our Father.
God’s Ways Are Higher
We must never forget: God is not like us. He does not think like us. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Imagine an ant trying to understand why humans build roads, houses, and cities. It cannot. In the same way, our small minds cannot fully grasp God’s plans. But we can trust Him, because His ways are always greater than ours.
The Overrated Title of “Christian”
In today’s world, the title Christian has become overrated, watered down, and misused. Anyone can claim it, but not everyone lives it. Politicians, celebrities, and entire churches wear the name without walking the walk.
The Bible tells us that the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch (Acts 11:26). Notice it says they were calledChristians by others, not that they called themselves Christians. No true disciple in Scripture ever identified themselves with that word. They called themselves “believers,” “saints,” or “disciples of Christ.”
In fact, the word Christianwas first used as a label by outsiders in Antioch (Acts 11:26), not by the disciples themselves. Over time, the title has become watered down, misused, and worn by many who do not follow Christ at all.
Today, the word Christian can mean almost anything. But a Disciple of Christ has only one meaning: a student; someone who follows Him, obeys His Word, and gives their whole life to Him.
What Is a True Disciple of Christ?
So, what makes a true disciple?
· A disciple studies the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15).
· A disciple loves God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30).
· A disciple lives by every word of God (Matthew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3).
· A disciple tests everything by Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
· A disciple searches the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11).
A Disciple of Christ is not a title. It is a life of obedience, repentance, and love for God.
The Evidence of a Disciple
The Bible says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
That means your old life is gone. Your old habits, your old sins, your old ways, they are behind you. Christ said, “He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).
It is like a tree. A tree is not judged by how tall it is or how many leaves it has, but by its fruit. In the same way, you are not a disciple of Christ because you say you are. You are His disciple if your life bears the fruit of obedience, truth, and holiness.
Do You Care?
So, I ask you again: Do you care? Do you care enough to let go of lies, traditions, and excuses? Do you care enough to let God correct you, even if it hurts your pride?
The answer matters more than anything in this life.
Christ is calling. Will you care enough to answer?
God’s Perfect Creation
In the beginning, God created man in His image and gave him dominion over all the earth (Genesis 1:26-30). Everything God made was good. There was no death, no pain, no suffering, no struggle. God Himself looked upon His creation and said it was “very good” (Genesis 1:31).
Man and woman lived in innocence, walking with God in perfect fellowship. There was no fear, no guilt, and no shame. But God gave them one commandment: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17).
This was a test of love and obedience.
It is like when a father tells his child not to touch the hot stove. The warning is not to ruin the child’s fun, but to protect the child from harm. In the same way, God’s command was for Adam’s good.
The Fall
Satan entered the garden in the form of a serpent and spoke to Eve (Genesis 3:1). He questioned God’s Word: “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
This is how temptation always begins: by casting doubt on what God has clearly spoken. To question God’s Word is to question God Himself.
Eve answered that they could eat of every tree except one. But she added something God never said: “neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” (Genesis 3:3). Already, confusion had entered.
Satan then told a bold lie: “Ye shall not surely die” (Genesis 3:4). He deceived Eve into thinking God was withholding something good, saying, “Ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).
It is like a stranger whispering to a child, “Your parents do not want you to have candy because they want to keep something good from you.” That is a lie meant to trick the child into disobeying. Eve believed the lie, ate the fruit, and gave to Adam, and he ate also.
With that act of disobedience, sin entered into the world.
The Curse
Immediately, their innocence was gone. Their eyes were opened, and they knew they were naked (Genesis 3:7). They hid from God because they were ashamed (Genesis 3:8-10). For the first time, fear replaced fellowship.
God confronted Adam, and Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. No one took responsibility. This is the beginning of sin in every human heart: disobedience, blame, excuses, pride.
It is like when children get caught breaking a rule. One blames the other, the other blames something else, but neither admits the truth.
God pronounced judgment.
To the woman:sorrow in childbirth and submission to her husband (Genesis 3:16).
To the man:the ground cursed, work filled with sweat, thorns, and death (Genesis 3:17-19).
To both: banishment from the garden, separation from the tree of life (Genesis 3:23-24).
Paul explains it this way: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”(Romans 5:12).
Because of sin, death entered the world. All men die. All animals die. Even creation itself groans under the weight of sin (Romans 8:22).
And most of all, fellowship with God was broken. Man hid from God then, and man has been hiding from Him ever since.
The Effects of the Fall
Sin is like a sickness that spreads to the whole body. It touches everything: our thoughts, our actions, our relationships, and our future.
The Answer
But God, in His love, provided a way back.
Because of Adam’s sin, every one of us is born separated from God. We carry a spiritual emptiness that no money, no power, no relationship, and no pleasure can ever fill. People try to fill it with friends, with addictions, with achievements. But it never works. At the end of the day, the void remains.
It is like trying to fill a broken cup with water. No matter how much you pour in, it leaks out. Only God can repair the cup. Only He can fill the emptiness.
God showed His love by sending His only begotten Son to die for our sins. At the cross, Christ took the curse upon Himself. “For he hath made him to be sin
for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
What was lost at the Fall was reclaimed at the Cross.
Christ came to open our eyes, to turn us from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18). He came so we could walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). He came so that we could be restored to fellowship with God.
“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness” (John 12:46).
This is the answer: through Christ, the broken relationship is repaired, the curse is reversed, and eternal life is offered to all who believe, repent, and follow Him.
The Call
So, I ask you: have you answered that call, or are you still hiding from God like Adam did?
Do not wait for tomorrow. Do not wait for your family or your friends. Right here, right now, you have the chance to step out of darkness and into the light.
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” (1 John 3:1).
Christ is calling. Will you answer Him today?
Recap for Understanding
Hold on to this truth: What was lost at the Fall can be reclaimed at the Cross.
Christ, the Son of God
The Promised Seed
From the very beginning, God gave hope. After Adam and Eve sinned, God spoke of a descendant who would come and destroy the works of Satan: “It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15). This was the first prophecy of Christ, the Son of God, who would reverse the effects of Adam’s sin.
God continued to give promises through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He promised that their seed would conquer enemies and bring blessing to all nations (Genesis 22:17-18). The Jewish people called this promised one the Messiah, the Savior.
The prophets foretold Him, the one who would bring people back into fellowship with God and restore a righteous and everlasting Kingdom.
Who Christ Is
The gospel of John tells us: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). This Word became flesh as the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16).
Christ was born fully man, yet fully God. He was tempted in every way as we are, yet He never sinned. He lived a perfect life of obedience to the Father.
It is like a lamb without blemish. Only a spotless sacrifice could be offered to God. Christ was that perfect lamb.
His Death and Resurrection
Christ gave His life willingly. He endured a painful death on the cross, fully submitting to the Father’s will. He carried the weight of our sins upon Himself. At that moment, He became sin for us, bearing Adam’s curse (2 Corinthians 5:21).
The Bible says: “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Death had no rightful claim over Christ, because He had never sinned. But He died in our place, paying the price for our sins.
Hebrews explains: “That through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). By dying, Christ broke the power of sin and death.
And on the third day, God raised Him from the dead. Death could not hold Him. This resurrection opened the way of salvation for all who believe.
It is like a locked prison door that no man could open. Christ alone had the key, and by rising from the dead, He unlocked the door to eternal life. But the door must still be entered through faith and obedience.
Salvation Through Christ
No other man could have done this. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Only Christ, the perfect Son of God, could die for our sins and rise again.
Romans 3:25-26 says: “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past… that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
Through Christ’s blood, forgiveness is offered. Through His resurrection, eternal life is made possible. But these are not automatic. They are conditional upon faith, repentance, baptism, and obedience to the gospel.
That is why Peter preached on the day of Pentecost: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).
This is God’s way of showing His righteousness and His mercy. He remains just, and at the same time, He justifies all who believe and obey His Son.
The Call
God is offering salvation through Christ. It is a gift of grace, not something you can earn. But it must be received. You must believe, repent, be baptized, and walk in obedience.
Christ Himself said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
So the question is: will you respond as the disciples did in Acts 2:38, by repenting, being baptized in His name, and receiving the Holy Spirit? This is the way to enter into the life He offers.
Recap for Understanding
Hold this truth: Only Christ, the Son of God, can save us. What Adam lost, Christ restored.
Grace and Mercy
Hope Through Christ
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”(1 Peter 1:3).
Sin is anything that displeases God. Sin separates us from Him, because He is holy and perfect. The payment for sin is death, not just physical death, but spiritual death: eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23).
This death entered the world when Adam and Eve sinned (Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12, 14). Their sin opened a gap between mankind and God that no human effort can ever repair. We cannot fix it by being good people, having good morals, saving lives, or being very religious. Only God Himself can bridge that gap.
Grace and Mercy: Two Sides of the Same Coin
The Bible often uses the words grace and mercy together. They are like two sides of one coin:
Imagine a teacher who catches a student cheating on a test. Mercy is when the teacher does not fail the student, even though he deserves it. Grace is when the teacher not only forgives him, but also gives him another chance and even helps him learn so he can pass.
That is how God deals with us.
Grace
Grace comes from the Greek word charis, meaning gift, favor, or kindness. It is God’s unearned favor given to us. Grace pardons our sins when we repent and gives us the chance to live in a restored relationship with God.
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men” (Titus 2:11).
Grace is always a gift to the unworthy. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:23-24).
The law, given by Moses, showed us how holy God is and how far we fall short. “The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good” (Romans 7:12). But the law also magnified our sin, showing us we cannot reach God’s standard on our own (Romans 5:20). That is why grace came through Christ. “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).
Grace is stronger than sin. “Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20).
There is also common grace, which God shows to all people in daily blessings like rain, food, and life itself. But there is also saving grace, which brings forgiveness and new life through Christ.
Mercy
Mercy is God’s compassion toward us even when we deserve judgment. Because of His mercy, He holds back the punishment we deserve. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ” (Ephesians 2:4-5).
Mercy is deliverance from judgment. “O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth forever” (Psalm 136:26).
According to the Bible, all have sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8). Because of sin, all deserve death and eternal judgment (Romans 6:23). If God gave us what we deserve, we would already be condemned forever (Revelation 20:12-15). Every breath we take is proof of His mercy.
Mercy is not weakness. It is the strength of God’s love shown to guilty sinners.
Examples of God’s Grace and Mercy
One of the clearest lessons of mercy is found in Jonah. Jonah disobeyed God, but God spared his life and gave him another chance. Jonah preached to Nineveh, the people repented, and God showed mercy by sparing the city (Jonah 3). Jonah grew angry, but God reminded him that mercy is part of His character (Jonah 4:11).
Our Response
Grace and mercy are not excuses to continue in sin. They are calls to repentance and worship. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5).
Because God has shown us grace and mercy, our response should be humility, gratitude, and obedience. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
It is like a guilty prisoner who is unexpectedly pardoned. His heart should not be proud or careless, but thankful and devoted to the one who set him free.
The Call
You cannot earn God’s grace. You cannot demand His mercy. Both are His gifts, offered freely in Christ. But you must receive them through faith, repentance, baptism, and obedience (Acts 2:38).
Christ has already paid the price. The question is: will you accept His grace and mercy today?
Recap for Understanding
Hold this truth: Grace and mercy meet at the cross. Grace offers us life, mercy spares us from death, and both come only through Christ.
WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL DO FOR US AND IN US
God’s Gift of the Spirit
God did not send His Spirit to remain idle in our lives. He sent Him to live in us, to help us, and to guide us into His plan.
“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes” (Ezekiel 36:27).
Christ Himself promised: “It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you” (John 16:7).
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us. He is not just a force or a feeling, but the living Spirit of God who works in every true believer.
The Works of the Holy Spirit
1. He Draws the Unsaved to Christ
No one can come to Christ by themselves. The Spirit opens hearts and draws people to salvation.
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him”(John 6:44).
It is like a magnet pulling metal. The Spirit pulls our hearts toward Christ.
2. He Gives Wisdom, Teaches, and Reminds Us
The Spirit is the source of revelation and truth. He testifies of Christ and helps us remember His words.
It is like having a teacher who whispers the right answers during life’s test—not to cheat, but to help us walk in truth.
3. He Rebukes Sin
The Spirit does not ignore sin. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).
This is like a parent correcting a child to stop them from walking into a busy street. Rebuke is not to harm, but to protect.
4. He Dwells Within Us
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16). The Spirit does not just visit; He lives in us.
It is like having light inside a house. Once the Spirit comes in, darkness cannot rule there anymore.
5. He Convicts, Leads, and Grants Repentance
The Spirit leads us to repentance, turning our hearts toward God.
Like a compass pointing north, the Spirit points us back to God.
6. He Helps Us Pray
“The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought” (Romans 8:26).
When we do not know what to say, the Spirit intercedes with groanings too deep for words. It is like a friend speaking on our behalf when we cannot find the right words.
7. He Helps in Ministry and Comforts Us
The Spirit is our Helper and Comforter. He gives us fellowship, strength, and guidance in serving God.
Like oil in a lamp, He keeps the flame of ministry burning.
8. He Gives Life and Regenerates Us
The Spirit makes us alive to God. Without Him, we remain in the flesh.
The Spirit is like breath in the lungs. Without Him, there is no life.
9. He Anoints Us with Power
The Spirit empowers believers. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
This is like armor given to a soldier: protection, strength, and authority.
10. He Intercedes for Us
“He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God”(Romans 8:27).
Even when no one else prays for us, the Spirit prays.
11. He Gives Spiritual Gifts
The Spirit equips the Church with gifts: wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
It is like tools given to builders. Each believer receives what is needed to build up the Body of Christ.
12. He Produces Spiritual Fruit
The Spirit grows fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Fruit is evidence of life. If the Spirit lives in us, His fruit will show in our actions.
The Call
The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to every believer, but He will not force His way. We must receive Him, walk with Him, and obey His leading.
He draws us, teaches us, rebukes us, comforts us, and empowers us. He makes us alive and fills us with gifts and fruit so we can glorify Christ.
The question is: are you willing to let the Spirit work in you?
Recap for Understanding
Hold this truth: The Spirit of God is not idle. He works in us, through us, and for us, to bring glory to Christ.
22 Things any Christian should know.
Please revise your knowledge, on all these verses, because there is a great chance that Satan has been hindering your walk by injecting lies through your pastors, loved ones and not so holy bibles.
Here are some basic things we should all know as “Christians.”
Now check what your bible says and compare it to the provided verses!
You may be amazed of how many bibles change or delete content just to have more revised versions and therefore make more money.
1- Concerning Lucifer: Satan is styled the "accuser of the brethren" (Rev. 12:10; Job 1:6; Zech. 3:1), as seeking to uphold his influence among men by bringing false charges against Christians, with the view of weakening their influence and injuring the cause with which they are identified. He was regarded by the Jews as the accuser of men before God, laying to their charge the violations of the law of which they were guilty, and demanding their punishment.
Satan is the father of all lies, cults and indoctrination. Lucifer/Satan is a fallen angel who was cast out of heaven for his sin of pride and his desire to be God. Even though he was cast out of heaven, he still seeks to elevate his throne above God.
He counterfeits all that God does, “even bibles” hoping to gain the worship of the world and encourage opposition towards God's kingdom.
Satan is the ultimate source behind every false cult and world religion. Satan will do anything and everything in his power to oppose God and those who follow God. However, Satan’s destiny is sealed with an eternity in the lake of fire.
Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Some Bibles are blasphemous. “Morning star” is a term reserved for Jesus elsewhere, yet they have granted to Lucifer this title here. You will notice that it is an addition to the text, though Lucifer is left out. Does this imply Christ has fallen?
*Son of the morning or morning star refers to Jesus Christ, see Rev. 22:16
2- Concerning the Cross: Christ’s great sacrifice not only became the atonement for man’s sins, but it also became the victory that would defeat and overcome death, which would have otherwise been the inescapable fate of all men who are born under the curse of sin. Sin carries its own inescapable penalty, and that penalty is death.
Mark 10:21 (KJV) Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Some Bibles leave out the concept of “taking up the cross.” Why?
3- Concerning Confession: Primarily is about Confessing Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
Matthew 10:32 (KJV) Whosoever therefore shall confessme before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change the word from confess to acknowledge? They interpret instead of translating. Confess and acknowledge are two completely different things. confess is (sensed)to admit to the truth, particularly in the context of sins or crimes committed while acknowledge is to admit the knowledge of; to recognize as a fact or truth; to declare one's belief in; as, to acknowledge the being of a god.
Luke 12:8 (KJV) Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change the word from confess to acknowledge.
1 John 4:3 (KJV) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change the word from confess to acknowledge.
Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change the word from confess to profess? They interpret instead of translating.
Confess and profess are two completely different things. confess is (sensed) to admit to the truth, particularly in the context of sins or crimes committed. while profess is to administer the vows of a religious order to (someone); to admit to a religious order (chiefly in passive)
When it comes to confession of sin, believers are told to confess their sins to God. God is faithful and just to forgive our sins as we confess them to Him. The word of God speaks of confessing our faults or trespasses “to one another,” but this is not the same as confessing sins to a priest as the Roman Catholic Church teaches. Priests / church leaders are nowhere mentioned in the context of James 5:16. Further, James 5:16 does not link forgiveness of sins with the confession of sins “to one another.”
James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Other Bibles change the word from faults to sins. They interpret instead of translating. Faults and sins are two completely different things. “Sin” and “fault” are two different words in the Greek. The word “sin” is translated from the word harmatia (G266), 172 times. The word paraptoma (G3900) is translated “fault, trespass, offense, fall.” We see here two distinct words for two different kinds of offenses.
According to the word of God, we are to confess our sins to God in order to receive forgiveness from Him!
1 John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 14:11 (KJV) For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Once again some Bibles have changed confess to acknowledge which we know are two completely different things
4- Concerning Salvation: Salvation is defined as being delivered, by God's grace, from sin & its consequence of eternal punishment and being raised to newness of life in Christ.
Salvation comes to those who fulfill God’s requirements for salvation. For example, believing is one requirement.
If we do not believe, will God give us His salvation? No, He will not.
So, there we have one requirement. repentance is another example of His requirements. And there are a couple of more, so we all better make sure we know exactly what God is asking of us so we can meet or do all that He requires of us to receive His promised salvation. (See Study on “your salvation” for a better understanding).
Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Most Bibles deleted this part! Whose kingdom are we to seek?
Matthew 18:11 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Most New age Bibles delete or change this salvation verse from is to have. The word “Is” is about being. And the word “Has” is about Possessing.
Matthew 20:16 (KJV) So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Most New age Bibles omit this verse. They leave out half of Jesus’ statement.
John 6:47 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. KJV is clear regarding the object of belief. Others obscure this to say anyone who believes. Does it matter what one believes or what they believe on?
Luke 4:4 (KJV) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Why would new age bibles delete or change this? Does it not matter what a believer lives by?
Acts 8:37 (KJV) And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. New age bibles tend to omit this complete verse. Why omit a confession of Christ? Trying to hide His true identity?
Mark 2:17 (KJV) When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, they that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it?
5- Salvation by believing alone or faith alone: There is still nowhere in the Holy and unholy bibles where it states that anyone can or will receive salvation “By believing ALONE or by faith ALONE.”
Sadly, most churches are running with doctrines of devils and are choosing the product that sells the most seats in their church. All their congregants need to do is choose how they want to be saved and decide what product fits their lifestyle to choose their salvation. Whether it be once saved always saved, meaning they can continue in sin, no matter what. Or just saved by grace on which EVERYONE is automatically saved, no matter on their walk.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SAVED?
· By Grace “alone” (Acts 15:11, Eph 2:8-9, Titus 2:11) “For by grace are ye saved”
· By faith “alone”, (Luke 7:50, Eph 2:8, 2 Tim 3:15, 1 Peter 1:5, James 5:15) “the prayer of faith shall save the sick ………… and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him:”
· By believing “alone”, (Mark 16:16, Rom 10:9, Acts 16:31, Joh 3:16) “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house”
· By hope “alone”, Romans 8:24 (KJV) “For we are saved by hope”
· By works “alone”. Acts 26:20, James 2:24 (KJV) “by works a man is justified, and not by faith only”
· By just by hearing “alone” (John 5:25) “they that hear shall live”
· By washing away our sins “alone” …... Washing our sins away? (Acts 22:16) “wash away thy sins”
· By just confession (Romans 10:9) “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth……. thou shalt be saved”
· By eating Christ’s flesh and drinking His blood (John 6:54) “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life”
· Better yet, just Calling out the name of the Lord (Acts 20:16, Rom 10:13) using the sinners prayer” that should be sufficient as to calling on the name of the Lord; right? ...
>>>>>>>>>>>Dead wrong!
Matthew 7:13 for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
This is very similar to the situation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God in Genesis 2:17 told them not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, "For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." But Satan told Eve in Genesis 3:4, "Then the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die." Satan only added the one word "not" to what God had said and completely changed the meaning. That is what men are doing to God's commands today. Who are you going to accept, the word of men or the Word of God?
1 Peter 3:20-21 (KJV) Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: (The answer of a clear conscience for us of doing what He told us to do!)
Ephesians 4:5 (KJV) One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
Numbers 19:7-9 (KJV) ........ "for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin."
Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
6- Remission of sins!
Without Remission of sins, there is NO salvation! Unless Christ shows Himself in person to you before you die and saves you in person!
What happened to remission of sins?
Why is the church preaching forgiveness of sins and NOT teaching and preaching remission of sins like Christ commanded us to do so?
Luke 24:47 (KJV) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change the word remission?
Remission and forgiveness are two different things.
When you forgive someone, it does NOT mean you forget it ever happened.
When you receive remission of sins it means God let’s go as if they NEVER happened!
*The Biblical definition of Remission is to be released from bondage or imprisonment; forgiveness or pardon of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty.
Romans 3:25 (KJV) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
A- We know that we are given knowledge of salvation by the remission of sins.
Luke 1:77 (KJV) To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
B- We know that without Christ sacrifice, there would be no remission of sins!
Hebrews 9:22 (KJV) And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
C- We know that Christ sacrifice provides the remission of sins!
Mathew 26:28 (KJV) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
D- We know that whosoever believes in shall receive remission of sins.
Acts 10:43 (KJV) To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
The problem here is that we know that salvation by believing ALONE is NOT biblical. So, the question remains, what other action do we need to do in order to receive remission of sins?
E- We are told clearly by Mark and Paul that we must Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins! Here it shows us what action we must take in order to receive remission of sins!
Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Mark 1:4 (KJV) John did baptize in the wilderness and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
So, we have learned so far that believing, repenting and baptism are all necessary to receive remission for our sins! Mark 16:16 also confirms the first and last thing we need to do to be saved. In the other hand, it also common since that anyone that does NOT believe will not follow up with anything else, specially baptism.
Mark 16:16 (KJV) he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, he that believeth not shall be dammed.
7- Repentance: Repentance is not a work we do to earn salvation. No one can repent and come to God unless God pulls that person to Himself. Repentance is something God gives—it is only possible because of His grace. No one can repent unless God grants repentance. All of salvation, including repentance and faith, is a result of God drawing us, opening our eyes, and changing our hearts.
Matthew 9:13 (KJV) But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it?
8- Concerning Baptism: Water baptism is an essential part of salvation. Baptism alone does not save from sin, but it erases/cleanses away our sins so we can receive newness of life and the Holy Ghost within us.
Water baptism is done for the REMMISION of sins and not just forgiveness of our sins!
There is a great difference between forgiveness of sins and remission of sins!
Acts 2:37-42 (KJV) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
9- Water: God has always used water as a reagent for purification and cleansing of sins and therefore during baptism; it washes away our sins. (Washing and forgiveness are 2 different things)
The word of God tells us that in the old testament God used water as a regent for cleansing and purification!
Numbers 19:7-9 (KJV) ........ "for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin."
Exodus 29:4 (KJV) And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.
Exodus 30:20 (KJV) When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not;
Exodus 30:21 (KJV) So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not:
Leviticus 22:6 (KJV) The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.
God tells us in the New testament that God STILL uses water as a regent for cleansing and purification of sins!
Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8:38 (KJV) And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Acts 22:16 (KJV) And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
10- Worship: True worship is not confined to what we do in church or open praise (although these things are both good, and we are told in the Bible to do them). True worship is the acknowledgment of God and all His power and glory in everything we do. The highest form of praise and worship is obedience to Him and His Word. To do this, we must know God; we cannot be ignorant of Him. Worship is to glorify and exalt God—to show our loyalty and admiration to our Father. Worship is to study His word and applied it into our lives.
Matthew 9:18 (KJV) While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? they changed “worshipped” to “fell on his knees in front of”. This is interpretation, not translation.
Matthew 18:26 (KJV) The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it?
Matthew 20:20 (KJV) Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? They Change the concept of “worship” to that of “kneeling.” Again!
Mark 5:6 (KJV) But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? they changed “worshipped” to “fell on his knees in front of”. This is interpretation, not translation.
11- Prayer: Prayer is something that we all should want to do on a daily basis. Daily prayer with God is daily fellowship with our heavenly Father. It is truly amazing that God would want to have fellowship with us at all.
Mark 9:29 (KJV) And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? The concepts of obedience, spiritual wakefulness, and prayer are all removed. They demonstrate its anti-fasting philosophy.
Mark 13:33 (KJV) Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? The concepts of obedience, spiritual wakefulness, and prayer are all removed in all new age bibles.
Luke 11:2 (KJV) And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? They have a specific reason for leaving out the “in heaven” part. Catholics pray to the pope as “Father” …. but he is not in heaven! This would be too clearly a reference to God Himself if they did not change this verse!
Matthew 17:21 (KJV) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Perhaps the New Age bible translators do not wish to promote prayer and fasting.
Act 14:23 (KJV) And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
12- Fasting: Scripture does not command Christians to fast. God does not require or demand it of Christians. At the same time, the Bible presents fasting as something that is good, profitable, and beneficial. By taking our eyes off the things of this world, we can more successfully turn our attention to Christ. Fasting is not a way to get God to do what we want. Fasting changes us, not God. Fasting is not a way to appear more spiritual than others. Fasting is to be done in a spirit of humility and a joyful attitude.
Matthew 17:21 (KJV) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Again, Perhaps the New age translators do not wish to promote prayer and fasting.
Mark 9:29 (KJV) And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Once again, they demonstrate its anti-fasting philosophy.
13- Sacrifice: We are to sacrifice our lives to Christ.
Mark 9:49 (KJV) For everyone shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? The significance of Jesus’ words can never be understood if they are never read! Yet the translators dare to leave out, once again, something they must have seen as unimportant. Do they truly think Jesus had no reason for speaking?
14- The Trinity:
1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? New age bibles attack the Trinity.
15- Christ's Divinity:
Matthew. 1:25 (KJV) And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? As a virgin, Jesus must have been a firstborn. They leave it open as to whether or not she had had other children previously, perhaps by another man, thus a subtle blow to Christ’s divinity.
Luke 2:33 (KJV) And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Was Joseph Jesus’ father? New Age Bibles again obscure the virgin birth, another attack on the divinity of Christ. Additionally, the Greek contains the word “Ioseph”, and there is simply no excuse for translators to leave it out.
Luke 2:43 (KJV) And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Again, they would have you believe that Joseph was Jesus’ father, instead of preserving the truth of Jesus’ birth to Mary the virgin.
Luke 23:42 (KJV) And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Again, other bibles leave out the concept of Jesus’ Lordship.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? The term “only begotten” has great significance. It means that Christ is the only one of the Godhead to have ever been born as a son. To say He is God’s only Son contradicts other verses which say we can be the sons of God (see John 1:12).
John 4:42 (KJV) And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? (Yes, the word “Christ” appears in the Greek text.)
16- Christ's Lordship: When a person yields to the lordship of Jesus Christ, he or she acknowledges His ownership and gives up his or her personal rights. Yielding to the lordship of Jesus Christ also involves total and unreserved obedience. If He is the Lord of your life, you are going to do what He tells you to do.
Mark 11:10 (KJV) Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? They change the kingdom from present to future, thereby denying Jesus’ present Lordship.
Luke 23:42 (KJV) And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Again, most new age religion translators leave out the concept of Jesus’ Lordship.
For New Age translator to say He is God’s only Son contradicts other verses which say we can be the sons of God (see John 1:12).
John 4:42 (KJV) And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? It just makes me sick to think that translators of God’s Holy Word would really work this hard to remove references to His Son from the book! (Yes, the word “Christ” appears here in the Greek text.)
John 6:69 (KJV) And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? New age agenda translators choose to leave out the full identification of Christ.
John 10:30 (KJV) I and my Father are one. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Whose Father?
Acts 2:30 (KJV) Therefore being a prophet and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Really, why did they omit this?
Acts 3:13 (KJV) his Son Jesus
Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it?
17- Christ's Prophecy:
Matthew 27:35 (KJV) And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? New age bibles separate out the fact of fulfilled prophecy regarding Jesus Christ’s death. This is another direct attack on His Messiahship.
Mark 15:28 (KJV) And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? They decided to Omit the fulfillment of prophecy!
John 9:4 (KJV) I must work the works of Him that sent me. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? I is for Jesus Christ not for anyone else!
18- Forgiveness: Christ is our example for all attitude and conduct in life, and His example and His commandments go hand in hand. That is why we are commanded both to seek forgiveness and to forgive
Matthew 5:44 (KJV) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? New age translators Slice out most of the verse! Perhaps the translators thought Jesus’ words too boring.
Matthew 6:13 (KJV) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Some Bibles remove to a footnote the identification of God's authority. Some even admit the change from "evil" (sin) to "evil one" (the devil) may be unfounded.
Matthew 9:13 (KJV) But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Most Bibles do not recognize the need for repentance.
Mark 11:26 (KJV) But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? WOW, Satan through the New age translators have completely omitted this critical issue relative to our salvation. These were Jesus’ own words. Was Jesus not important enough to be heard?
Colossians 1:14 (KJV) In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Where is the blood in the other bibles? Without the shedding of blood there is no remission
19- Miracles: Yes, God still performs miracles in a personal level with each believer.
Mark 16:9-20 (KJV) Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Sometimes they leave it, but put a note in it stating, “this was an addition, it was never on the original scrolls” LIES and Lies… Which two MSS do they mean? If we look at the Note in the NKJV beside this same passage we see: “They are lacking in Codex Siniaticus and Codex Vaticanus, although nearly all other manuscripts of Mark contain them.”
John 5:4 (KJV) For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Again, they omit this without any mention. Is this to reduce the belief in the supernatural? Might that also be the reason behind the footnote for Luke 22:43?
20- Spiritual warfare: We rely on God’s power, not our own. We put on the whole armor of God. We draw on the power of Scripture—the Word of God is the Spirit’s sword. We pray in perseverance and holiness, making our appeal to God.
Luke 4:4 (KJV) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Other Bibles Misquote Jesus during His temptation. The part omitted is crucial to His reason for making the statement as our example for how to face trials.
Luke 4:8 (KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? They have excluded the command forms of “thou shalt” which show Jesus was being obedient to God’s command instead of falling prey to temptation. It also omits Jesus’ command to Satan.
Luke 9:55 (KJV) But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? And here, again, the reason of the rebuke is lighten, leaving us to question Jesus’ response.
21- The Holy Spirit and His power: We rely on God’s power, not our own. We put on the whole armor of God. We draw on the power of Scripture—the Word of God is the Spirit’s sword.
1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it? Here most Bibles will take away the trinity.
John 14:16 (KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Most Bibles will change or omit the highlighted part. Does your bible omit or change it?
22- About deviating from the Apostles teachings:
Luke 13:23-24 (KJV)Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
One of the reasons why many will seek and strive to enter at the straight gate and shall not be able is due to blindness and lack of knowledge in the word of God. It is also due to lies and indoctrination. It is brought by Satan through unbiblical teachings by our pastors, ancestors, and their customs. We need to put pride aside and question every teaching and
accept the truth that Christ has for us. We need to turn away from the infinity of lies Satan has for us.
What did Jesus Christ "teach" His apostles and disciples?
Teach all nations what?
"To continue steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine" in verse 42 And the reason for baptism, which is for the remission of your sins and the receiving of the Holy Ghost in verse 38.
Acts 2:37-42 (KJV)Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Now, when did all this change. Why did the apostles not stop/change their doctrine during or after Christ was Glorified or after Pentecost?
When did the apostle’s doctrine about salvation stop and started becoming only about faith alone or believing alone or that it ends in the cross just and only by accepting Christ.
There is nothing in the bible that tells us that the apostle’s doctrine has changed. Only Satan wants you to believe that. Satan wants you to be short of salvation and will even give you the feeling of euphoria and happiness and will even throw in some miracles to maintain you BELIEVING you have received salvation.
For Satan it is better for you to stop sin in most areas and learn other truths from the word of God than seeing and knowing the primary truth of salvation. Because without salvation, it does not matter how much you know or follow Gods word. Satan will still win because you never got saved and will not make it inside the gates of heaven.
The doctrine of the apostles is a direct teaching of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in connection to eternal life. Anything different are doctrines of devils and therefore we must not deviate from it!
1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV)Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
The Gospel of Christ
If you die today, will you be entering the Kingdom of Heaven?
Are you following the plan of salvation and faith which was once delivered unto the Saints?
In other words, are you following the Apostle’s doctrine, or are you following a common plan of salvation, which is a manmade doctrine?
Is your doctrine of salvation the right one?
Have you verified with the Holy scriptures the salvation plan your pastor is preaching?
How sure are you, that you have not been deceived and have accepted a counterfeit salvation plan? In other words, are you doing what God requires to receive salvation?
The true gospel is not being preached today, which is a huge reason why we have an enormous number of false expectations and very little obedience, which all leads to false salvations.
The most common plan of salvation is that we are saved the moment we believe or have faith.
Sometimes the sinner’s prayer is also required.
You might have heard also that baptism is not necessary for salvation, that it is only an outward expression of our faith.
One common salvation plan is when, some preacher comes talks to a person about Jesus Christ and how sinful we all are. That we must all repent of our sinful actions in our lives. He would finally get to a point where he would ask them “do you repent, do you want to be saved?” and if they answer, “Yes, I want to be saved, I believe”, then, the preacher all excited will say, “praise the Lord, you believe and are now a child of God, pray this prayer with me and thou shall be saved!”
This can become confusing or overwhelming, because there are so many different doctrines and believes in this matter!
Why do some pastors tell you to put your head down and close your eyes when they are asking if there is anyone that would like to accept Christ? Is it shameful to accept Jesus in your life, therefore, no one should be looking?
Why do others require baptism as proof of being saved? Or good works? Or tithing for that matter!
But is this all biblical?
If any of that sounds familiar to you, then you need to STOP right now and listen to what God has to say through us!
We are NOT asking you to believe what we are about to show you!
We are just asking for you to listen, read and then verify whether we bring biblical truth or not.
Just like the Bereans, that received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so! Acts 17:10-11
Jude 1:3 (KJV) Beloved, When I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.
Let us break this verse down.
Ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.
The definition of EARNESTLY is with sincere and intense conviction; seriously.
The definition of CONTEND is to strive.
So, this is what Jude is saying:
It was needful to write to you of the common salvation and appeal to you that ye should, (leave that common salvation plan and) with sincere and intense conviction, strive for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.
That Common salvation is NOT of the true faith!
3 questions before we dive into the scriptures to find out if that common plan of salvation is biblical or not!
1. Has your Pastor ever told you that, we all need to go through a conversion process in order to receive salvation?
2. Have you ever heard that without conversion, you will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?
3. Did you know that Simon Peter was NOT saved the moment he believed or had faith?
Neither was he already saved by the time Jesus was crucified!
He was still not even saved by the time Jesus went to heaven which was 40 days after the resurrection!
Now, there has been, there is now and there will always be a counterfeit plan of salvation!
So, we need to be careful and make sure we are following the true Gospel of Christ!
That we are always verifying and making sure that we are in fact on the road to salvation!
When it comes to Peter and what he believed, the gospel tells us that Peter not only believed Jesus was the Christ, it tells us that Peter knew for a fact that Jesus was the Christ!
Matt 16:13-17 (KJV) When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14…15…16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Biblical fact check #1
Peter believed!
But was he truly saved?
When it comes to Peter’s faith, the gospel tells us that Peter was also lacking faith!
Remember when Peter tried to walk on water? Matt 14:28-31 (KJV) And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Biblical fact check #2
Peter was lacking faith!
Listen to what Jesus Christ told Peter about his failing faith and conversion. Luke 22:31-32 (KJV) And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
(Peter’s faith was still failing and he was NOT converted yet!)
Here is the (continuation) and proof that this was before the crucifixion!
33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
So, until the moment leading to Jesus’s crucifixion, peter was lacking faith, was not converted yet, and had denied Jesus 3 times!
Here is where Jesus tells us that conversion is a Necessary step to salvation!
Mat 18:3 (KJV) And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Except ye be converted, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven!
Biblical fact check #3
If you are NOT converted, you will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!
So far, we have proved that by the time of the crucifixion, Peter still had not completed his conversion, and no conversion means not entering the Kingdom of Heaven, which means NOT saved!
You see, Satan wants us to believe we are saved the moment we believe, but when you truly go deep into the scriptures and specially see the story of peter’s salvation, we can see that he went through a couple of different things before he received his salvation!
PETER HAD TO GO THROUGH A CONVERSION PROCESS!
Peter first saw Jesus and believed John 1. Peter then confessed his sin Luke 5:1-11.
Finally, Peter later confessed Jesus as Lord Mark 8:27–9:1.
During all this time, Peter was walking with Christ, learning from Christ and at the same time preaching and teaching, doing the works of the Lord, and even performing miracles.
But we know for a fact, that by the time of Jesus crucifixion, Peter’s faith was failing, He denied Jesus 3 timesand he was not converted yet!
We already know that we need conversion, but did you notice in Luke 22, how Peter denied Jesus? And what does Jesus Christ say about denying Him? Mat 10:33 (KJV) But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Biblical fact check #4
So, even though Peter had been walking with Jesus Christ for over 2 years; If Peter would have died at that moment, Peter would have gone to hell.
Because:
1. Peter was not converted yet! Mat 18:3 (KJV) Except ye be converted, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
2. Jesus would have denied Peter because Peter denied Jesus 3 times! Mat 10:33 (KJV) But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Whether Peter’s faith was perfected, and his conversion completed when he received the Holy Spirit in power in Acts 2, (Pentecost) or way later when he embraced the fullness of the gospel in Acts 10:11 Is NOT the point here! That is not what I am trying to point out!
The point & TRUTH is that no one is saved the moment they believe or have faith.
OK, still not convinced; How about this one? Rom 13:11(KJV) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
We need to go through a conversion process and do a couple of things that God requires for our salvation!
Like believing, baptism, faith, repentance, confessing, etc.
Unless Jesus himself shows up and tells you that you are saved; just like He did with the thief on the cross. And I mean, JESUS SHOWING UP FOR REAL IN YOURDEATHBED!
The comment most people will say is “the thief on the cross was not baptized, therefore baptism is not necessary for salvation!”
Luke 23:43 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
The biblical answer is:
1. Well, they were saved directly by Jesus Christ! HE DOES NOT HAVE TO BAPTIZE ANYONE; HE IS THE SON OF GOD! If He says you are saved, then you are saved. PERIOD!
2. The gospel is very clear and tells us that Jesus DID NOT baptize at all! John 4:2 (KJV) (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
3. The Holy Spirit was sent after Jesus was glorified, so baptism for the remission of sins started with John the Baptist, but the baptism for the indwelling of the Holy ghost was after and not before or during Christ’s ministry on earth! Basically, the thief on the cross was in between the transition of Old Testament and New Testament salvation rules!
So if Jesus Christ would not have been there, then the apostles would have had to bring the thief down from the cross and baptized him in order for him to have received remission for his sins and the indwelling of the Holy Ghost!
a. John 7:39 (KJV) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
b. John 14:16 (KJV) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
c. John 15:26 (KJV) But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: also, John 16:7
Remember, this is NOT a full study!
This is only intended to help you see and understand that there is more to salvation than just believing!
That there is a conversion process that we need to go through!
Just remember, it is your salvation that is at stake and not mine!
What I mean is that you are responsible for your own salvation and not someone who loves you or calls themselves a child of God!
Your Pastor could have the sincerest love and wishes to get you saved, but if his doctrine is wrong, then it becomes; the blind leading the blind to hell!
Our next step is to briefly talk about:
1. Proving that baptism is not only a commandment, but a necessary step towards salvation!
2. We will briefly touch the subject about obedience!
3. We will talk about good works!
4. We will also talk about the importance of where you are getting your biblical knowledge!
Continuing with this brief eye opener; Jesus said that for a person to be converted he needs to:
See, hear and understand with his heart: Mark 4:12 (KJV) That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Also found in Mat 13:15, Isa 6:10, John 12:40, Acts 28:27
And repent: Acts 3:19 (KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Some people are under the impression that repentance is a change of mind!
This is just like saying:
I know God hates my sin, and my sin keeps me separated from God, So I have changed my mind on being sinful today! We will see how I feel about it tomorrow!
Repentance is not JUST a change of mind!
The repentance (metanoia) called for throughout the Bible is a summons to a personal, absolute, and ultimate unconditional surrender to God as Sovereign. Though it includes sorrow and regret, it is more than that. ... In repenting, one makes a complete change of direction (180° turn) toward God.
If we truly repent from sin, it means we will NEVER, ever, ever sin again!
At least we will try our best, by getting away from those things or people that may temp us and even seeking council, accountability, and help!
Now let us speak about water baptism!
Is baptism an outward expression of an inward change? Is it a public declaration of how Jesus changed your life? Supposedly being baptized only shows others that you have decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you, they quote (Acts 16:31-34).
Most preachers dare to say that baptism does not save a person; they say it’s only a symbol and celebration of our faith and or salvation, and they quote (1 Peter 3:21).
1 Peter 3:21 (KJV), "The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us."
The Gospel says that "baptism does now also save us," but men turn their blind eye and say that "baptism does not save us."
This is all very similar to the situation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
God in Genesis 2:17 told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, "For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." But Satan told Eve in Genesis 3:4, "Then the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die." Satan only added the one word "not" to what God had said and completely changed the meaning of God’s commandment!
That is exactly what men are doing to God's commands today. Who are you going to accept, the word of men or the Word of God?
We are told in Acts 5:29, "We ought to obey God rather than men."
On the Day of Judgment, the Bible will still say that "baptism does ALSO now save us."
Baptism is in fact 1 Peter 3:21 “the answer of a good conscience towards God”
So, if we continue studying and searching the scriptures, we now must look at how or why having a good conscience!
Jesus Christ himself also tells us that we hold our faith in a pure conscience: 1 Tim 3:9 (KJV) Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
Our Conscience bears witness in the Holy Ghost. Rom 9:1 (KJV) I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Our Conscience bears witness of the work we do. Rom 2:15 (KJV)Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
We should thank God whom we serve with a clear conscience 2 Tim 1:3 (KJV) I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day.
You see, this is all connected to water baptism!
1 Peter 3:21 (KJV) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Are you starting to see the whole picture? Can you see now that there is more to salvation than by believing alone or by faith alone?
Baptism becomes the answer of a good conscience towards God, because the remission of our sins happens through baptism! Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
So, we receive two things during water baptism. We receive remission for our sins, and we receive the receive the Holy Ghost (indwelling of the Holy Ghost).
Christ sacrifice on the cross was for the remission of our sins. Mat 26:28. For sins that are past (not future) through the forbearance of God. (Not to be confused with forgiveness of sins). Rom 3:25.
Once remission of sins is given, God will not remember them anymore. Heb 10:17-18.
So, without remission of sins, there is NO salvation! But your bible will NOT say remission of sins, it will say, “forgiveness” which is different! We will talk about this later!
Remember? 1 Tim 3:9 (KJV) Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
Because of the above scriptures, now we must look into faith, and by doing this we can learn that we are NOT justified by faith alone: James 2:24 (KJV) Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Also found in, James 2:17-18, James 2:20, James 2:26. In this verse we also come to the realization that we must do good works so we can be justified, and we are not talking about the works of the law!
Scripture tells us that we have good works, like works meet for repentance Acts 26:20,
and the work of Faith 1 Thess 1:3 or even doing the work of an evangelist 2 Tim 4:5.
Now think about this verse: Luke 13:23-24 (KJV) Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
“Many will seek and shall not be able”.
This is mostly due to blindness and lack of Godly knowledge in the word of God.
It is due to lies and indoctrination. It is brought by Satan through unbiblical teachings by our family members, friends, pastors, ancestors, and their customs.
And we are at fault because we allow it, by not studying, questioning, and verifying those doctrines with the Holy Scriptures!
Pastors now a days are NOT teaching you that Salvation is directly connected to believing, repentance, Confessing Christ, faith, baptism, remission of sins, conversion, grace, and even good works. And if any of those are missing, you will NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Pastors are not following the Apostle’s doctrine, which was left for us to follow by Jesus Christ Himself! They are just following a common salvation plan, which is not of the faith of Christ!
We must understand that God will give us His salvation AS LONG AS we are obedient!
Christ told us in Luke 4:4 (KJV) “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”
But your bible does not tell you “But by every word of God “, or does it?
So, believing does saves us; IF or AS LONG AS we repent, are baptized, receive remission of sins, convert, etc.
Scripture even shows us that some disciples (Not just believers) were baptized twice. A second time after Christ ascended to heaven.
Acts 19:2-6 (KJV) He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Another question, some people may bring up, is. “Why was Jesus Christ baptized, if baptism is for the remission of sins. Jesus had no sin to be forgiven. In other words, Jesus had no need to receive remission of any sins!”
Jesus’s baptism was to show us how it must be done ANDwas done for the receiving of the Holy Ghost! Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Look at what happened after Jesus was baptized! Matthew 3:16 (KJV) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: (He received the Holy Ghost!)
Remember the story of the disciples in Acts 19 when they were baptized for a second time? They received the Holy Ghost!
So, for us as sinners, we must be baptized for the remission of our sins and for the indwelling of the Holy Ghost!
Salvation is a gift from God. But even though salvation is a gift from God, He has laid down certain conditions upon which he will give it. There is nothing that we can do to merit salvation. Whether it be believing in Jesus, doing the works of God, or being baptized, we can never "earn our salvation". The only way we can show our faith in Christ is if we are willing to accept and obey what He says. But it is after all the requirements are met, that God has chosen to impart his wonderful grace of salvation to us as a willing believer.
Ok, so far so good. But what about good works?
Let us test these 2 theories:
1- A man says he believes, has faith, repented, and was even baptized. Oh, and prayed the prayer, yet the ONLY thing he lacks are good works. To sum it up, he does not do any works meet for repentance. His faith is questionable because of the lack of good works.
Is he saved even though he does no good works? YES, OR NO?
2- There is a man that denies professing God, is disobedient to God, is abominable (detestable) in the eyes of God and is not pure unto every good work. The question is will God give this man salvation if he continues being disobedient, abominable (detestable) to God and is not pure unto every good work of God? YES, OR NO?
Both answers are NO. They are both the same person!
What happens if we do not do good works? Titus 1:16 (KJV) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
You see, Peter was doing lots of good works, (not to be confused with the works of the law) yet we have already stablished and biblically proved that even after walking with Jesus Christ for over two years, Peter was not yet “saved”.
And Paul the apostle believed, was converted, and repented on the Road to Damascus but was not yet “saved” because he had not received remission of sins nor the Holy Spirit by being baptized and was not yet doing the good works of God. Paul had been doing the works of the law.
Scriptures tells us that Paul was exceedingly worried about finishing his race until the day of his death! This was because, he wanted to make sure, he would make it into the kingdom of God.
So again, the only way we can show our Belief and faith in Christ is if we are willing to accept and obey EVERYTHING He says. But it is after all the requirements are met, that God has chosen to impart his wonderful grace of salvation to us as a willing believer.
Would you like to learn more? Because we can proof to you biblically that apart from Believing and faith, you also need to repent, confess Christ out loud, confess you are a sinner, have a good conscience, receive remission of your sins, be water baptized, do good works, and lastly make it to the end to receive salvation and enter the kingdom of heaven!
Everything God requires is part of your conversion!
So, lastly, but not least important!
Where are you getting your biblical knowledge from?
God said “My people are dying because of the lack of knowledge”
When it comes to the word of God, there are many counterfeit bibles in the world today.
Satan has filled this world with lies and indoctrination.
And sadly, because of the love for money, most preachers are just selling seats at church and are preaching damnation instead of salvation! And the few persons that truly are seeking Christ, most of them have learned their doctrines from those that teach unbiblical things. Others are learning and teaching from bibles that have wrong translations. They are learning doctrines of devils by using bibles inspired by devils!
Those counterfeit bibles have changed the meaning of words. And even gone as far to deleting entire verses. Some have over six thousand errors and changes in them. Counterfeit bibles will start their lies with Adam and Eve!
For example, the bible says: Genesis 1:27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Other bibles say:
Genesis 1:27So God created mankindin his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
They say that mankind, humankind, or humanity, meaning male and female were created in the image of God! And they reinforce it by saying “In the Image of God He created “them”. If this is correct, then women are equal to men. Women should have the same power in the Lord as men.
Paul should have NOT said anything against women speaking in the church nor anything about women not teaching men. And Jesus should have chosen at least one female as an apostle to show equality!
Can anyone think about Jesus Christ being a male chauvinist?
C’mon 12 male apostles walked with Him. 13 if you include Judas, plus approximately 12 more male apostles after His ascension including Paul! Only males! And the bible does not show anyone complaining about it, especially women.
Sounds like there may be a big issue in understanding Paul or even a bigger problem that Jesus only titled men as the highest rank in the 5-fold ministry!
Apostle, Prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher.
Think about it! This opens a new reality, Women Apostles, or women preaching and teaching to men, just like the apostles did! Women performing miracles and wonders just like the apostles. Wait, we do have that happening already in the FALSE church.
BUT is it biblical truth? Were women created in the image of God therefore making women equal to men, at least in a spiritual sense?
The answer is NO, it does NOT, and here is the biblical truth!
We already know that your bible most likely teaches that “Adam and Eve (both) were created in the image of God”. Gen 1:27.
The Hebrew word used in Genesis 1:26 and 27 is אָדָם.
Transliteration is ʼâdâm. Defined as Adam as the first male. The first man.
So biblically, Genesis 1:26-27 says:
And God said, Let us make the first Male/Adam/Man in our image, after our likeness: ….. 27 So God created the first Male/Adam/Man in his own image, in the image of God created he him (Male/Man); male and female created he them.
Even though, God ends saying “Male and female created He them”, this is true, God created them both, but He does NOT say “Male and female created He them both in His image”.
So, we can clearly see that the teachings of those bibles are wrong and go completely against the Holy scriptures. Furthermore, we learn that the translators for those bibles have completely changed the Holy scriptures to a lie!
This is one of the reasons why there are so many denominations!
Satan has many lies, many denominations, many counterfeit bibles, and many workers of iniquity!
So, where are you learning your stuff from? Have you at least questioned your pastors’ teachings and compared to any bible? Have you verified that you are truly on the road to salvation, or are you leaving it up to someone else’s belief system?
Do you care to verify what your bible teaches? Here are a few more examples of what a counterfeit bible will teach or change!
Worshipchanged to kneeling: Matt 9:18, Matt 18:26, Matt 20:20, Mark 5:6.
Conversion changed to turning: Matt 18:3, Mark 4:12, Luke 22:32, John 12:40.
Words like Repentance have been omitted: Matt 9:13, Mark 2:17.
Words & verses about fasting have been omitted: Matt 17:21, Mark 9:29.
Words & verses about Salvation have been omitted: Matt 18:11, Luke 4:4, Luke 9:56.
Words & verses about Prayer have been omitted: Matt 23:14, Mark 13:33.
Complete verses omitted: Mark 7:16, Mark 9:44 & 46, Mark 15:28, Mark 16:9-20, Luke 17:36, John 5:4, John 6:69, Acts 8:37, Acts 9:5-6, Acts 15:34, Acts 24:17, Acts 28:19, Rom 16:24, ` John 5:7-8
There are bibles that have over 6’000 errors and omissions in them!
NIV, NLT, NKJV, NWT, ASV, ESV, NAB, NAB-RE, NASB, RSV, NEB, NASV, CEB, JB, NRSV, ETC.
So, I ask you again. Are you following a counterfeit plan of salvation, which is also known as a common plan of salvation? Or are you following the Apostle’s doctrine? which is the faith given unto the Saints, also known as the Gospel of Christ!
Do you have one of those bibles? What has your bible omitted?
2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
How can you learn “truth” when you read lies?
Would you use your bible if it was easy to understand even if it was proven to have lies in it? Would you add rat poison to your food if it would make it taste better?

How to Call Upon the Lord
Salvation according to the word of God.
John 3:5-7 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jesus Christ said that we must be born again. So, when and how do we become born again?
There is nothing that we can do to merit salvation. Whether it be believing in Jesus or being baptized, we can never "earn our salvation". But the only way we can show our faith in Christ is if we are willing to accept and obey what God says.
Many people have the erroneous idea that because they were born into a Christian home, they are automatically saved and sealed Christians. Our fathers and mothers may be the greatest born-again Christians in the world, but that doesn’t make us also born-again Christians.
We cannot work our way to God, either. The Bible says that salvation comes “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit”
Titus 3:5-6 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Those who belief they are saved by inheritance or have earned it through the works of the law, will find out the hard way, that when judgment comes God will reject them because they never knew Christ and therefore, Christ never knew them.
Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Reformation alone is NOT enough either. We can say, “We are going to change, be better,” or make our new year’s, mid years, end of year, or whatever resolutions. But it still won't be enough, because in the sight of God “all our righteousness’s are like filthy rags”.
Isaiah 64:6 (KJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Some people have changed on the outside to conform to certain social standards or behavior that is expected in churches or even with Christian friends and family, but deep inside they have never been changed. Their sins have not been washed away, have not been born again, and the Holy Spirit is not indwelling within them.
That is why Jesus Christ said it repeatedly in different scenarios, forms, and ways "we need changing inside,” and only the Holy Spirit is the only one that can truly help us accomplish that.
Matthew 24:23-28 (KJV) Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Change is real and necessary. For salvation we must repent and be fully aware that God’s way is better than our way.
For Spiritual growth and maturity, we must allow the Holy Spirit to change us, as it is written:
Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
There is a mystery to the new birth. Jesus said, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit". (John 3:8). But you can always see the result. Jesus did not attempt to explain the new birth because our finite minds cannot understand the infinite.
Salvation brings us closer to God in many different levels. We start having a personal relationship with God and the understanding of His word gets easier and easier. We are given gifts, gifts that the Holy Spirit will impart in us, and we can use for the benefit of all. We will gain knowledge, wisdom, and even the gift of discernment. Some will receive other gifts, such as the gift of healings.
This personal relationship with God begins the moment we realize our need for Him, belief in Him and admit we are sinners, and in faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior. God, our heavenly Father, has always desired to be close to us, to have a relationship with us.
So, what does God require for us to do in order to receive His precious gift of salvation?
Ø We need God’s grace and mercy: It is automatic!
§ By and through grace we are saved. Eph 2:5, Eph 2:8, Act 15:11.
Ø We need to believe:
§ We must believe the Gospel. Mark 1:15
§ We must believe in the name of the only begotten son of God. John 3:18 and Acts 8:37.
§ We must believe that Christ is the Son of God. Acts 8:37-38.
§ We must believe in the Father and the Son. John 11:25, John 5:24, John 6:47, John 3:18, Acts 16:31 and John 3:15-16.

Ø We need to be converted:
§ Conversion is needed to make it into the kingdom of heaven. Mat 18:3.
§ We will be converted if our faith does not fail. Luke 22:31-32.
Ø We need to recognize that we have sinned against God and broke His commands. Are you a sinner, YES or NO! Do you admit that you are a GUILTY sinner, under the condemnation of God's LAW, deserving of Hellfire? (Romans 3:23)
Ø We need to repent: Are you truly repentant of your sinful life?
§ We are commanded to repentActs 17:30
§ We must repent to be convertedActs 3:19
§ If we repent our sins may be blotted out Acts 3:19, Acts 8:22,
§ If we don’t repent, we will not receive salvation Luke 13:3
Ø We need to have faith: As a mustard seed!
§ Faith is shown by its works. James 2:17-18.
§ If our faith fails, we will not be converted. Luke 22:31-32.
§ Those who keep the faith of Christ, will be in heaven. Rev 14:12.
§ We must hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering. Heb 10:23.
§ The end of the commandment is sincere faith. 1 Tim 1:5.
Ø We must be obedient to God:
§ Obedience to God Demonstrates Faith. 1 John 2:3-6.
Ø We need to confess Christ out loud: Do you want Him and can you call Him into your life?
§ We are to confess Christ out loud to be saved. Rom 10:9, Phil 2:11.
§ Confession made untosalvation. Rom 10:10
§ We are to confess we are sinners during baptism. Mat 3:6, Mark 1:5
Ø We need to have good/clear conscience:
§ Baptism is the answer to having a good conscience toward God. 1 Pet 3:21
§ We are convicted by our own conscience. John 8:9.
§ We are to exercise having a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. Act 24:16, 1 Tim 1:19, 2 Cor 4:2
§ Our Conscience bears witness in the Holy Ghost. Rom 9:1.
§ Our Conscience bears witness of the work we do. Rom 2:15.
§ We must hold the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Tim 3:9.
§ We should thank God whom we serve with a clear conscience 2 Tim 1:3.
§ The end of the commandment is a good conscience. 1 Tim 1.
§ We need remission of sins:
§ We must be baptized to receive the remission for our sins. Acts 2:38.
§ Christ sacrifice on the cross was for the remission of our sins. Mat 26:28.
§ Remission of sins that are past (not future) through the forbearance of God. (not to be confused with forgiveness of sins). Rom 3:25.
§ Once remission of sins is given, God will not remember them anymore. Heb 10:17-18.
Ø We need to be water baptized: Unless you are allergic to water, then there is no reason to wait or skip this one, because, you will not be reborn again and the Holy Ghost will not indwell in you.
§ Baptism also saves us. Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Titus 3:5.
§ Except we are baptized, we cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5.
§ We are to do only one baptism with everything attached to it! Eph 4:5
§ We are to be baptized with water. Heb 10:22, Titus 3:5,

§ We are baptized for the remission of our past sins. Acts 2:38.
§ We are to be baptized with a clear conscience Heb 10:22, 1 Peter 3:21.
§ After water baptism we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38.
You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple!” Yes, that simple. It is scriptural; it is God's plan. My friend, believe in Jesus and receive Him as Savior today. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He will start changing you, teaching you and molding you. He will start taking you away from the ways of death.
If you've never been saved, then now is the appointed time.
Romans 8:34 (KJV) Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Just as you were born physically to your parents, so you will be born spiritually into the Family of God when you receive Jesus and do everything, he requires for you to be saved!
Please understand that we are not saved because we pray a prayer; but because we believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and follow thru with His requirements. It is certainly appropriate to ask the Lord in prayer to forgive and save us; but it is by believing that we get close to Him and by our faith which prompts us to pray, be baptized and even do good works.
Would you like to receive salvation? Give us a call or text us. Because there are other details attached that the person who is doing the baptism has to know and do.
For example, you will be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. So, what is the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost?
Another one is, that you need to be baptized not only for the remission of your sins, but also for the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. The baptizer must also lay hands on you and anoint you right after baptism.
Finally, the person performing the baptism, must have been called and ordained. Whether he was called and ordained directly by God, or by someone who was priorly called and ordained by God.
You see, anyone can dunk you in a tub, but only those who are truly called and ordained have God’s authority and can baptize and have your sins remitted by God, through them.
John 20:23 (KJV) Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
